Senior Program Marketing Manager, NA Public Sector Marketing
About the job
The North America (NA) Public Sector Marketing team is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic marketing professional with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful demand generation programs targeting the NA public sector market to join us as a Program Marketing Manager in Tysons Corner, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy and management of content creation, awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation programs for Red Hat's Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Automation and Management programs. You will manage new contacts, leads, and pipelines for the associated product sets. As a Program Marketing Manager, you'll need close collaboration with cross-functional teams like business units, global demand center, corporate marketing, and NA public sector sales and sales specialists, as well as great working relationships with public sector media outlets and publications.
What you will do
- Create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns targeting the NA public sector market to motivate demand for the global Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Automation and Management programs and associated offerings and services
- Serve as a liaison between the sales and corporate marketing and support teams to ensure that messaging and campaigns align with specific public sector market trends, mandates, and unique requirements
- Coordinate and deliver customer-focused content, awareness, and thought leadership materials, including delivery and measurement in market
- Effectively manage marketing programs budget
- Create campaign tactic and offer IDs in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to ensure proper lead import, nurture, and tracking
- Measure success of programs via analytics and reporting, working closely with the NA Field Marketing Strategy and Insights team
What you will bring
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the technology field; public sector market experience is a big plus
- Proven record of managing campaign and marketing program results
- Experience with SFDC and general lead management processes
- Experience working with outside agencies or technological industry media partners to carry out campaigns
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and creativity
- Bachelor's degree; higher degree is a plus)
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, following Red Hat's COVID-19 guidelines
