What you'll learn & achieve:

Are you looking for a rewarding marketing career with a company that cares about people, safety and sustainability? For this role we are seeking a strategic product marketer to support our enterprise Environmental Health and Safety business group.

Working with the EHS team for the promotion of EHS software, Learning Management Systems and training courses, you will have a varied workload. You will liaise with Product Management, Sales and Marketing through various channels and will benefit from UL's extensive marketing operations, design, brand, events and campaign teams to help execute and deliver your ideas bringing them to life.

Job function:

Works independently; receives minimal guidance to execute go-to-market plans including: crafting messaging that attracts and converts prospects and leads; creating sales materials to facilitate positive client experience; and executing against launch plans that outline in detail how products are promoted and sold.

Job responsibilities:

  • Executes global Product Marketing strategy. Tracks marketing investments and results for continuous improvement. Collaborates with Product Marketing leads to understand the competitive landscape and drive demand in line with business goals. Executes client acquisition and retention strategies to drive business growth. (25%)



  • Supports market and trend research efforts to identify new opportunities and ensure products and messages are properly targeted. Gathers insights to influence business decisions and shape Product Marketing strategy. (20%)



  • Works with guidance to craft compelling content to drive product awareness and purchase. (25%)



  • Works with guidance to creates compelling content to ensure that sales have the knowledge required to effectively sell product offerings. Partners with sales to foster a continuous feedback loop. (20%)



  • Contributes to business success by performing other tasks as required



  • Read and follow the UL Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices



What makes you a great fit:

  • Minimum of two years related experience or demonstrated competency
  • Strong writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Collaboration

  • Able to understand technical and scientific issues and to translate complex information for nonscientific audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience managing and/or using a wide array of internal communication tools / fast learner
