Product Marketing Manager
Company Overview
Motorola Solutions is there for our customers when everything is on the line. In extreme moments — when a hurricane lands or when a fire breaks out. And in everyday moments — when a package arrives just in time for the holiday or when a child doesn’t miss the school bus home.
We unify voice, data, video and analytics in one integrated ecosystem to enable individuals, businesses and communities to work together in more powerful ways. To help people make better decisions, act confidently and be their best in the moments that matter. Bring your passion, potential and talents to Motorola Solutions and connect with a career that matters.
Department OverviewMotorola Solutions has been on the cutting edge of technology for over 90 years. Our public safety customers are some of the most demanding people in the world — and with good reason. They trust their lives to us, and we earn that trust daily by providing them with solutions that help them be more efficient, more effective, and safer in the moments that matter.
In Global Marketing, our mission is to bring that story to life — to show the world what the Motorola Solutions public safety ecosystem can do, and make sure that customers understand how our solutions can help them in their mission.
The Software Enterprise team within Global Marketing advocates for the solutions that help our customers manage the entire public safety workflow, as well as our fast-growing cybersecurity products and services portfolio. We recognize that our customers’ ability to focus on their mission depends on both the security of the solutions we provide as well as the services we offer to help protect them from cyber threats. This particular role has responsibilities for supporting our Secure Product Group, which includes encryption, authentication, and key management solutions for Motorola Solutions customers. This role reports to the senior marketing leader for cybersecurity services.
Job Description
We’re looking for a storyteller who will clearly communicate how cybersecurity is embedded into our solutions — from design to development and deployment — and why our customers should care.
You will own the messaging and positioning for all aspects of this story — developing a deep understanding of how secure product development fits into our overarching cybersecurity strategy, as well as updating materials for existing products, educating customers on the latest capabilities, and launching new solutions. You will translate new features and capabilities into specific real-world benefits to be shared with our customers, and develop collateral and other assets that explain how our cybersecurity-focused culture uniquely differentiates Motorola Solutions.
Your audience will include the CIOs, CISOs and IT directors who make purchasing decisions, as well as the public safety professionals and enterprise customers who rely on our solutions every day — not to mention the industry analysts and publications keenly interested in what we are doing in cybersecurity. It’s up to you to make sure they understand our value and capabilities, see the future vision we are building toward, and ultimately want to purchase our solutions.
You will be managing multiple areas within the cybersecurity space — including legacy products, new capabilities and solution launches — so excellent project management skills are important to grow relationships with key stakeholders and deliver high-quality material on time.
Note, this position can be fully remote or a hybrid role depending on where you are based.
