About the job.
Tovala is looking for a Product Marketing Manager on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll define the go-to-market strategy for new and existing products, and lead cross-functional teams to drive adoption. As Tovala's first Product Marketer, you'll have the opportunity to build a product marketing function from the ground up at a fast growing company. This role reports to our Brand Marketing Senior Manager.
What does it mean to be a Product Marketing Manager at Tovala?
This role requires an expert project manager that doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. On any given day you might develop the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a new product, optimize content for customer onboarding, or support the merchandising strategy of our weekly menus. You'll partner closely with product, insights and creative teams to build content that articulates product value in a thoughtful and compelling way, with consistency across all mediums.
How you'll spend your time at Tovala.
- Ensure our product stories tie to Tovala's overall brand story
- Utilize market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning to ensure Tovala's product experience is differentiated and aligned with target segment needs
- Lead cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) plans; develop positioning, messaging, assets, and launch strategy for new products and features
- Drive consistency in product messaging across all mediums, including web, app, collateral and third party marketplaces
- Ensure marketing, business development, and customer support teams are equipped to talk about product features
- Optimize adoption of existing menu innovation and product features in partnership with product and retention teams
- Analyze the performance of campaigns, share results with stakeholders and optimize in real time to deliver performance results
- Obsess over the voice of the consumer; work with Consumer Insights and Product teams to continually iterate and improve the customer experience
- Research category trends and share them with product teams to identify market trends and opportunities
Requirements
About you.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or related field
- 3-5+ years of product marketing or category/brand management experience
- Adept at leading and influencing cross-functional teams; solid interpersonal skills
- Strong project management; able to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Experienced storyteller; you know what makes people tick and are able to translate complex ideas into simple consumer stories.
- Test & learn mindset; ability to form hypotheses and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
- Creative problem solver, innovator, strategic thinker
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
