The Role
Avail (Part of The Realtor.com Network) is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager. The Product Marketer Manager is an exciting role, flush with opportunities to directly impact the business in many ways. You will have significant input into how we create, improve, and market to residential landlords and their tenants. As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll have the chance to work across teams, including product, design, engineering, as well as with the entire marketing team. You’ll be responsible for reporting across multiple marketing channels, including email, web pages, and other product channels. As a Product Marketer Manager, you’ll report directly to the Manager, Product Marketing and work closely with others on the marketing team, including the Director of Marketing. Your role will be a collaborative and cross-functional role, spanning across multiple channels, teams, and stages of the customer lifecycle. You’ll work to execute strategies as well as help develop new approaches to help achieve company objectives.
What will you do?
Responsibilities
Work closely with other channel managers to ensure all marketing strategies are executed as scoped Create materials that overview product updates to use in internal and external communications
Develop and execute product-lead growth initiatives Work with Design to provide UX / UI input Write and design marketing materials that highlight the overall product and new features in a way that best positions the product in the market
Lead product research efforts with customers and across the industry and distill feedback into actionable items
Develop and execute multivariate tests to improve lead activation, customer retention, and experience Become an expert on the Avail brand, image, and communicate this throughout the product as well as videos, case studies, and content marketing Become an Avail product expert, being a go-to source for product demos and maintaining accurate product documentation
Ensure copy, brand terminology, and positioning consistency for Avail products throughout the customer lifecycle
Support ongoing partnership marketing initiatives within the product, working with Partnerships Manager Identify gaps in product and marketing, and propose solutions
Support customer success initiatives with new lead conversion, customer engagement, and customer re-engagement
What will you bring?
Requirements
3-4 years relevant marketing, product, or customer success experience with proven ability to create and execute strategies
Sound knowledge and experience with conducting A/B and mult-variate testing with copy, advertisements, email marketing, and other channels
Experience working with marketing platforms and tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, SendGrid, Iterable, Airtable, or ones similar
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to create project proposals, presentation decks, customer stories, and customer facing copy
Proven ability to work in collaborative environments, across multiple teams
Exceptional research skills, working with surveys, analysis of data, customer interviews, and other mediums to better understand and communicate customer experiences, wins, and pain points
Preferred: Passion for proptech, fintech, real estate investing, property management, landlording, or real estate in general
Experience working with landlords and/or other real estate professionals
Experience creating software or other SaaS or B2C products Detailed understanding of the competitive landscape and trends within the proptech industry
