The Job

Our Product Marketing Manager is responsible for presenting Tango products in a way that strengthens our brand and drives revenue growth. As a marketer, you are creative, passionate, and data-driven when it comes to understanding Tango Card customers and user personas. In joining the team, you will have the opportunity to conduct research, perform competitive analysis, develop marketing tools, and drive go-to market activities; resulting in increased demand for (and usage of) Tango Card! 

Reports To: Marketing Director.

As a Product Marketing Manager at Tango You’ll:

  • Use market research and competitive analysis to provide guidance on marketing strategies that support our existing and future products.
  • Work closely with the product team to identify, research, and build business cases for new market opportunities.
  • Collaborate across all business teams to deliver and maintain consistent brand “voice” across website, support chatbot, and all knowledge base content.
  • Create consistent positioning statements, messaging, and associated source material for use by the marketing team to generate public-facing marketing collateral.
  • Develop and evolve market segmentation and sizing for Tango Card products. Align products with the use cases, buyer journey and market segments to identify areas of upsell and cross-sell with existing customers. Collaborate with product and marketing to create buyer personas for new and existing products.
  • Represent the company with key target audiences, to demonstrate the customer-led benefits of the product line (i.e. conferences, trade shows).
  • (In conjunction with the Product Team) Educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and benefits. Prepare, deliver, and lead communication around roll-out of new features and products. Help provide product training, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • (In conjunction with Marketing/Creative) Lead the creation of content, case studies, sales documentation, product video concepts, website copy, and blog posts to articulate the benefits of our products to key market segments. Collaborate on marketing strategies and planning documents through to launch.

To Be Effective in our Product Marketing Manager Role, You Must Have: 

  • 3+ years of meaningful experience in copywriting, editing, and product marketing.
  • Proven success in positioning and launching differentiated products to market; meeting or exceeding business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Business Systems, and Product Management to produce effective product and feature launches.
  • Ability to develop compelling marketing content that engages with target audiences.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.

Our Ideal Product Marketing Manager at Tango Card Will Have:

  • Marketing experience with any of the following: enterprise software, SaaS business, FinTech or transactional B2B marketing.
  • Proficiency with modern mar-tech stacks, including HubSpot, Terminus, and Salesforce.
  • Experience with demand generation or account-based marketing experience.
