General Summary:The Product Marketing Manager will manage Advarra product marketing initiatives to grow revenue in accordance with corporate goals. The role is responsible for developing strategic marketing campaigns, supporting sales enablement goals, and bringing new product innovations to market. The successful candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content that establishes Advarra as an industry thought leader.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage product marketing programs and campaigns for Advarra technology solutions and other Advarra service lines, and measure their effectiveness
  • Create content (e.g. sales enablement documentation, case studies, press releases, website copy, blog posts, etc.) that clearly articulates how our products and services benefit customers in key focus areas such as academic medical centers, cancer centers, health systems, and related organizations
  • Develop digital assets, advertisements, literature, and other marketing materials to support the sales cycle, from lead nurturing through customer acquisition
  • Increase brand awareness for our solutions, drive traffic to the Advarra website, and help convert qualified visitors into customers
  • Work closely with product management team to influence product roadmap and release schedule based on market research and analysis, product strategies, content for product releases, and customer success
  • Partner with sales team to develop comprehensive marketing materials that align with decider and influencer buyer personas' interests and needs throughout the buyer's journey
  • Manage and update product content on our website
  • Identify and seek out new channels to reach our target audiences and determine appropriate messaging strategy
  • Develop and optimize lead nurturing email campaigns to consistently generate new, high-quality sales leads and move through the sales funnel
  • Define and attain key performance metrics aligned with corporate objectives and marketing best practices
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to help with product strategy at industry conferences and feature SMEs in Advarra-sponsored events
  • Contribute to creation and maintenance of scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management



Job Requirement

Education

  • BS in Marketing Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Business OR equivalent work experience



Experience

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience required
  • 3+ years of content creation for print and web required
  • 3+ years of experience with marketing experience in a B2B industry preferred
  • Previous experience with brand management is required
  • Previous experience within the clinical research or software industry preferred
  • Experience with WordPress or other Content Management Systems preferred
  • Experience with marketing automation (i.e. Marketo) and CRM (i.e. Salesforce) systems preferred



Knowledge/skills/experience

  • An interest in understanding the industry and our business' mission required
  • Demonstrated experience in using inbound and outbound marketing strategies to optimize customer leads and retention
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts and deadlines
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business' various types of content
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking. Mastery of writing style guideline (e.g. AP Style Guide) and business communications preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to understand an audience/industry and provide thought leadership
  • Excellent independent and team collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred



Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
  • Learn and comprehend basic instructions
  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding and speaking
