Launching in late 2020, Maven Messenger is a new platform by LivePerson focused on defining the standard for what conversational commerce can truly be. What can we do together?

As the Product Marketing Manager, you are vital to the growth and success of Maven Messenger. You will cross-functionally collaborate across the Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure Maven’s vision becomes reality. In this unique opportunity, you will define & refine our messaging and positioning for both businesses and consumers. You will help our team gain insight & understanding into unmet business and consumer needs, and partner internally to shape our strategy and roadmap. Your data-driven mindset will guide our content & social media strategy, and will unlock growth and engagement. A thorough understanding of competitive intelligence will ensure our release & feature updates distinguish Maven from other channels. The successful candidate has an opportunity to join an outstanding team in a fast-paced, high-growth business unit.

What you will be doing…

  • Evangelizing Maven’s vision of being the most trusted and easiest way to discover, chat, and shop!
  • Drive awareness of Maven’s competitive advantages to both businesses and consumers
  • Own the content & social media strategy for Maven with a focus on demand generation and usage/retention
  • Serve as the go-to expert for conceptualizing and creating compelling content that effectively positions Maven as a gold standard solution
  • Develop repeatable formulas for content creation, including demo videos, product spotlights, customer stories, and interviews
  • Understand the customer journey from awareness through adoption to identify what questions are being asked, and where we can reduce friction/create momentum
  • Work with our Product team to package and brand product features to drive excitement and engagement of new features within the app
  • Directly connect & listen to business owners so that you can empathetically shape our offering to increase our reach while providing maximum value

This person must have…

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in product marketing for a two-sided marketplace, B2B SaaS, or B2C e-commerce environment
  • Excellent communication skills; you like to define and articulate the strategy to achieve success and growth
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and multitask with excellent organizational skills
  • Prior experience working at product-led growth organizations
  • Experience working directly with customers to understand their needs
  • Ability to translate diverse information into meaningful conclusions and results
  • Proactive drive to continually collaborate with clients and colleagues to ensure business outcomes
  • Outstanding interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to team collaboration
