What will you be doing?

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will help us position and market our core products and platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing product positioning that differentiates AvePoint products and features by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
• Creating messaging that fits the audience mindset/needs within that experience (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, events) and maximizes the strengths of each channel or experience
• Planning and executing product launches across cross-functional teams (spanning Product, Marketing, Support, Service, Sales)
• Collaborating with Sales to understand and support ongoing enablement, and maximize impact of messaging
• Market intelligence – being the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; being the expert on your competition and how to win
• Working with product management to establish a continuous feedback loop to influence the product development roadmap and create mitigation for product gaps
• Working with content marketing on targeting and segmentation
• Developing a range of customer testimonials for external/internal use, including written case studies
• Mentoring others in the marketing department

In this role, you are tasked with creating and participating the in successful demand creation campaigns so you will need to have the ability to think creatively and strategically and easily able to switch between thinking and doing.

Other qualities you’ll need to be a fit for this role include:

• 4-5+ years product marketing experience in B2B or B2C technology (preferably SaaS/software)
• Track record of successfully launching products 
• Strong positioning and messaging skills; ability to craft clear and simple messages that work 
• Creating or actively participating in successful demand creation campaigns 
• Track record of being respected by sales force as a marketer and an expert in your space 
• Collaborative team player; work well with others in marketing teams and other functions (like sales, product, services); able to impact and influence without reporting lines 
• Articulate and skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple straightforward way
• Willingness to continuously learn new techniques and skills and eager to mentor others
