Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

As Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for go-to-market strategies, customer and competitive intelligence as well as enablement. This role will also serve as a technical expert within the marketing team, working closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders to create, implement and execute the product marketing strategy to continue to grow our Security Service Edge (SSE) portfolio. This includes messaging, market awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation efforts.

Product Marketing Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be an expert at Skyhigh Security's buyers/personas across all segments to build differentiated, value-based messaging that connects customer pain points with product-led use cases/solutions
  • Drive powerful product launches to our partners, customers, and prospects for the SSE portfolio
  • Work with product management to understand prioritized opportunities for product releases and identify key market problems to help position our products appropriately
  • Coordinate across teams to align on go-to-market strategies/tactics to support product roadmap
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to amplify our message, provide sales and partner education, and generate demand
  • Develop technical and marketing content for sales and marketing
  • Support Analyst briefings
  • Create collateral and website product content
  • Benchmark complementary and competitive offerings
  • Maintain understanding of current and emerging technologies that can impact Skyhigh Security
  • Create unique value propositions that align to relevant audiences
  • Gather feedback from the market on use cases, buying criteria and required functionality
  • Lead sales enablement activities for Skyhigh Security sellers and coordinate with Channel marketing for Partners

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Technical understanding of CASB, SWG, ZTNA, DLP, and Security Service Edge framework, and the ability to message
  • Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization and with external parties
  • Must be persuasive and a quick thinker
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Additional consideration will be given for internal process and systems knowledge

Education And/Or Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a product marketing, product management or product evangelist role
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, information technology or related field
  • Experience with cybersecurity / cloud-native security products
  • Demonstrated product marketing abilities that drive adoption and market activities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work environment is energetic and may be in either an office setting or remote.

Base Pay Range: $94,000 - $172,00. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
