Lendio is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Brand & Product, Marketing team. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, skilled storyteller, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus across Product, Creative, Marketing, and Sales. This individual will analyze market feedback and data for product development and collaborate with key stakeholders to set go-to-market strategies and priorities. In this role, this individual will build upon their understanding of small businesses' financial needs to optimize our existing and future portfolio to better meet customer needs. 


  • Champion the voice of the customer to prioritize products and solutions to best address small businesses’ financial needs
  • Collaborate closely with Product & Sales teams to help shape product and feature development based on market gaps and customer needs
  • Develop detailed go-to-market strategies for focus area(s), working cross-functionally with teams across Product, Marketing, Creative, Sales, Customer Experience, and Business Insights. 
  • Create go-to-market plans for new tools and product features.
  • Lead identification of the right audience segmentation, positioning, messaging, and adoption tactics for new and existing products in-focus area(s)
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing team stakeholders to align master brand positioning with product value propositions across key areas of the customer journey.
  • Maintain detailed customer journey maps attributing top-of-funnel engagement with mindset and message positioning all the way through lower funnel channels.
  • Build evergreen testing and optimization plans for enhancing messaging and value proposition.
  • Create customer experience templates for direct sales and CX teams to ensure message alignment across all customer-facing channels. 
  • Maintain competitive marketplace analysis and updates across key competitors and communicate regularly to stakeholders. 

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years experience in marketing; 3+ of those years in product marketing specifically for SaaS or Financial Service companies.
  • Strong storyteller with the ability to develop campaigns that get customers’ attention and build product brands people love
  • Proven ability to integrate across teams in developing GTM channels plans and campaigns.
  • Analytical thinker with experience in data-driven marketing
  • Ability to drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement
  • Experience creating multi-touch message matrix across Paid, Social, and Onsite Marketing pages
  • Apply insights and strategic thinking to influence stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of various marketing strategies to audiences of all levels
  • Experience driving complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Player/coach mentality: Ability to get hands-on and jump in to help the team at a moments notice

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • In-depth understanding of the financial and small business industry a plus
  •  Experience launching new products and/or SaaS products as part of a multi-product platform
