Product Marketing Manager-VITEK 2 System
Position Summary:
This Product Marketing Manager role within our US Clinical Marketing team is responsible for managing the identification and susceptibility product line which includes the VITEK 2 system.
This role manages all aspects of the product launch process through the development and execution of the brand plan. This position plays a lead role in the creation of marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics and holds primary responsibility for tactical execution in support of marketing objectives. This marketing role works closely with broad cross-functional teams including field sales, customer support, market research, quality, marketing communications, regulatory, and medical affairs. Domestic travel required 30% of time for this position.

- Clinical data gaps

- 3rd party vendors
- Company executive management
Studies and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or business-related field; MBA preferred.
- 1+ years of successful product management experience, preferably with diagnostics or medical products.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of marketing regulated clinical diagnostics in the field of infectious disease.
- Knowledge of molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, or virology clinical laboratory techniques is highly desired, but not a requirement.
- Performs work under supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems, and refers some complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Interacts and presents technical information to audience with various levels of scientific experience.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint, Word and Excel, and contact management databases.
- Some lab experience is not required but a plus.
