Product Marketing Manager, Snap Map

We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team, focused on the Snap Map. You will partner closely with our Product Management, Partnerships and Communication teams to build and launch products and features that allow us to achieve our mission of building the world’s most personal map.
As a Product Marketer, you will conduct research and analysis to understand the needs of our community, businesses and developers, identify key market trends, and lead initiatives to capture growth opportunities. You must have a solid vision for how to bring products to market, be at ease in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will use your market knowledge and analytical mindset to inform the roadmap, build global go to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts. You will successfully grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of the Snap Map among the Snapchat community, businesses, and developers.
What you’ll do:
Be a recognized Snap Map expert and collaborate with a group of Product Managers and Partnership Managers to develop and execute global go to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications and marketing activations
Lead extensive market research to identify new opportunities through structured analysis, market trends, competitive benchmarking, quantitative & qualitative feedback, and influence our Snap Map product roadmap
Be a self starter team player who can lead, coordinate and drive successful alignment across wide cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, Sales, Partnerships, Support, and Localization, with minimal guidance
Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on the Snap Map
Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize activation initiatives, and drive alignment at each level of the company, from peers to senior leadership
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of products that helps bridge the digital and physical worlds, an understanding of the needs of businesses and developers using maps and a deep customer empathy for our Snapchat community
Extensive go to market strategy & planning experience
Effective written and verbal communication
Self starter able to prioritize duties and work well on your own
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail
Strategic mindset to bring complex and nuanced concepts into simple actionable tasks
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's in business, economics, finance or other related field or equivalent experience
5+ years professional experience in product marketing, product management, internet technology, strategy consulting, computer science, statistics or other relevant digital marketing experience
Strong track record in launching products & driving global adoption
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in business administration
Experience with fast paced work environments
