Why we’re hiring
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to add value to our sales process and buyers’ journey. You will become an expert in our industry, competitors and buyers and use that knowledge to enable our sales team - ensuring they have the tools they need to bring in exciting new business.
The ideal candidate has experience or knowledge of the fintech and banking space and buyers. You are comfortable embedding yourself with the sales team, listening to calls, talking to clients and fully immersing yourself to understand the needs of our buyers. You are also research minded and ready to dig into competitors, industry resources and more and then synthesize your learnings in a meaningful way to the rest of the business.
What you’ll be doingAs the Product Marketing Manager you’ll:
- Develop and execute sales enablement strategy, ensuring our sales team has the resources they need to be successful (e.g., slides, scripts, battlecards, objection handling, website content).
- Map out the buyer journey and work with content marketing manager and demand generation manager to develop relevant content for the buying stages.
- Continuously refine our buyers’ personas.
- Create a competitive research strategy: who to prioritize, how to keep the business up-to-date on changes, what resources to create for the sales team, etc.
- Perform industry research and translate those learnings so the rest of the business can take action on them.
- Perform win/loss analysis and make recommendations based on the findings.
Who we’re looking for
- 5+ years of proven experience as a B2B product marketer. Fintech or banking industry experience preferred.
- Experience supporting B2B sales teams.
- Strong verbal communication skills. Comfortable working closely one-on-one with sales team members and also presenting/ training larger groups.
- Strong writing skills. Ability to create strong and persuasive collateral and other written materials. Please have writing samples available.
- Self-starter who wants to build processes and strategy to make a big impact on our business.
