About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will drive overall product marketing efforts, with the goal of growing adoption of hardware and software among enterprise users. In this role, you will uncover the challenges facing IT and business decision makers today, and position how our product portfolio of Chrome, Chrome OS, and Android fit into an enterprise's end user computing strategy. You'll be launching and landing features to the market. You will work closely with growth, partner, regional, and field marketing teams to reach potential customers through digital and traditional marketing plans, and communicate important updates to existing customers. You will drive cross-functional programs with high stakeholder visibility, and proactively look for new ways to create value for customers across the Google product portfolio.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Work across marketing, product, and sales teams on key campaigns, launches, and initiatives to grow awareness of the brands and preference among IT decision-makers.
  • Orchestrate multi-channel marketing efforts (e.g., events, advertising, email, web, blogs, sales collateral, etc.) with content that reaches different enterprise stakeholders.
  • Create content that supports the adoption of capabilities among our existing enterprise customer base and demonstrates how our platforms complements other ecosystem technology providers.
  • Use research to inform messaging and strategy, and then measure the impact of those activities.
  • Participate in virtual and in-person events to help build awareness for platforms benefits and engage with customers and prospects.
