Product Marketing Manager Carbon

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is located in St Louis, Missouri or can be residence based in Missouri, California, New Jersey, New York, Washington, North Carolina, Massachusetts.

The primary responsibilities of this role, Product Marketing Manager Carbon, are to:

  • Develop the positioning for assigned product/segment ownership;
  • Define customized solutions and/or approaches to build meaningful customer value beyond products for segment domain;
  • Optimize the end-to-end customer journey, delivering a delightful experience that ensures a long-term relationship with Bayer Carbon's product/programs portfolio;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of current and future product offerings and services, as well as market and customer opportunities;
  • Leverage market research to stay current on the competitive landscape and represent the customer's voice to influence the product value definition and positioning;
  • Strong customer-centricity with enthusiasm to understand and serve our customers/ partners better than anyone else;
  • Define value propositions for market and segment through market research, customer interactions, and technical experience;
  • Work in close collaboration with other members of the Carbon team to ensure critical alignment across go-to-market strategies, launches, and campaigns for Bayer Carbon's product portfolio;
  • Manage the development, communication, and implementation of go-to- market plans, including responsibility to develop and maintain sales collateral to support sales and business development teams;
  • Leverage data and analytics for business advantage and competitive differentiation;
  • Monitor business health and recommend opportunities and contingency plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree or Master of Business Administration;
  • Strong background in row crop agronomics, farming practices and/or distribution;
  • At last six years of relevant business experience in Agricultural Marketing, Brand Management, Marketing Communications, Product Management or related area;
  • Strategic thinking as demonstrated through the development of actionable and strategic marketing, business planning, and branding concepts;
  • Experience working cross-functionally across different organizations with a demonstrated ability to lead core projects and influence a broad set of internal stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail, comfortable presenting to executives and partners;
  • Self-starter, with the demonstrated ability to drive results in a highly dynamic environment;
  • Flexible, can-do attitude, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities;
  • Customer centricity and experience applying consumer insights, research, and testing to drive world-class marketing strategy and execution;
  • A passion for agriculture, sustainable farming, and digital solutions.
