We’re looking to onboard a Marketing Engineer to join the FLYR crew. As Product Marketing Lead, you will support the development, launch and life-cycle management of all current and future SaaS offerings. You will collaborate with various functions such as Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery/Implementation in order to ensure most efficient identification, development, deployment and use of managed products. The Product Marketing Lead will be responsible for identifying needs and relationships required to foster prospective and existing customers as well as expand our target markets. The successful candidate will have a keen experience-based familiarity with the practice of Revenue Management in the transportation industry and B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
What will your destination look like at FLYR?
- Product mastery - Set the course for how FLYR’s digital products are viewed by the world. Liaise with the FLYR product team to create compelling, feature and outcome-rich content that clearly demonstrates our superior technology.
- Market intelligence—be the expert on our decision makers and influencers, who they are, why and how they buy, and their key decision criteria.
- Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. Develop comparison content for sales.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas. Distill complex technical detail into consumable messaging for all target audience types.
- Understand and document our buyer’s journey, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
- In collaboration with the FLYR Marketing team, develop marketing campaigns to grow our SaaS business, focused on the acquisition of new customers. Capture customer stories and case studies in captivating print and video formats.
- Plan the launches of new product features, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
- Develop content and collateral to support our sales team; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
What should you pack for this trip?
- 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS. Previous experience using or marketing commercial (revenue management) software in the airline industry is highly preferred..
- Comfortable using marketing automation and CRM tools - HubSpot
- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is–or isn’t—working
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing (or related field)
