Money Map Press, an Agora Company, is looking for a Product Marketer to join their team Baltimore. Money Map Press is a financial publishing company with a team of investing experts with more than 250 years of combined experience led by Bob Keppel. Our one goal is to make investing profitable for our subscribers.

You've probably heard that we've shaken things up over here. There's no denying we've blown out the cobwebs in order to design and implement a new way of reaching our subscribers to offer a superior experience, that we believe is at the forefront of the financial publishing industry.

About the Role

This position is entry level, but could be tailored for a more experienced candidate. As a Product Marketer, you'll be working on a wide range of tasks and projects that encompass our world. We're looking for someone with drive and ambition who has the passion to execute at a high level. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic, supportive, tight knit group of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Acquisition
  • Develop, execute and report on internal opt-in campaigns to grow our free lists - develop ideas, assign special reports, write ads or lifts, get ads featured in e-letters/websites etc.

• Promotion
  • Create and maintain spreadsheet tracking for our promotion production process for each product - timelines, ideas, research, copy needs, and pieces required for launch - and keep them moving forward.
  • Write and edit engaging promotional e-mails and ads in the tone of the franchise.
  • Work with Legal Dept. to get marketing copy (ads and emails) approved.
  • Help communicate new product and promo launches to Customer Service and Telesales teams - write "cheat sheets."
  • Build marketing offers into new subscriber welcome series (monitor monthly). Look for cross-selling opportunities, i.e., collaborate with editorial team to create editorial mentions to direct readers to promo.
  • Respond to market events to build, execute and report on marketing campaigns.

• Fulfillment
  • Work closely with editors and act as company marketing liaison for them.
  • Create compelling content for our social media pages to get new followers and increase engagement.
  • Update/improve web copy for products - new testimonials and gains.

• Retention and Renewal
  • Help create and run "stretch" campaigns to lower cancel/refund rates.
  • Help organize webinars, conference calls, special events for retention as assigned.

• Analysis
  • Maintain marketing reporting across the board using in house platforms and Google Analytics.
  • Help analyze the key metrics of our multi-channel marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• Qualifications & Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, or Business.
  • 2+ years of marketing work experience.
  • Some experience in direct marketing or copywriting a bonus.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Outstanding problem solving and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Independent worker.
  • Basic html
  • Wordpress, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office.
  • Bonus: a background or interest in the financial markets.
