Product Marketer, Consumer Platform (shopper focus)

Reports to: Senior Director of Product Marketing, Influencer Platform

Location: open to Remote 

The Role

Responsible for helping our customers find success with our features, products and platform, the Product Marketer will shape our product offerings and how we position them internally and externally. This dynamic, high-impact position will collaborate closely across functions including Product, Engineering, Data, Creator Success, Sales, and Marketing to drive product awareness, adoption and retention among LTK shoppers in the app and on desktop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute high-impact launches for our shoppers.
  • Collaborate to define positioning statements and messaging for products, apps and key features.
  • Initiate product campaigns that are appropriate for different segments of shoppers.
  • Plan, write and distribute short-form and long-form content that helps acquire, retain and grow LTK shoppers. 
  • Work with Marketing to build campaigns that highlight the latest LTK features.
  • Monitor competition and assess features/benefits to make recommendations for LTK.
  • Utilize insights to measure, monitor and optimize the success of product marketing programs, content and campaigns.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for LTK Shoppers and evangelist for the rest of the company.


Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience launching & scaling consumer apps for global consumer and/or media brands.
  • Proven experience in growing consumer businesses through sustained customer engagement.
  • Deep, established proficiency in storytelling and narrative-building.
  • Expertise knitting together a broad range of customer listening posts and data sources such as audience research, community feedback, customer support, behavioral analytics, etc.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with product management, sales, marketing, PR, and creative functions on driving growth through product marketing initiatives.

  • Remarkable attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and toggle between long-term strategies and short-term tasks easily.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to get results in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytics and business acumen, leveraging results to make recommendations for future actions. 
  • Positive and entrepreneurial-minded team player with an internal drive to hit goals and deadlines. 
  • Scrappy and self-directed style.
