About the job
The Red Hat Solutions team is looking for a Principal Technical Marketing Manager to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing end-to-end strategies to increase adoption and usage of Red Hat's multi-product solutions by technical stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in the success of Red Hat's solutions by serving as a technical expert on the solutions and cooperating with many teams to increase technical knowledge about the solutions in the market. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with multiple high-performance teams and engage with our global sales engineering teams on a daily basis. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain environments in the Red Hat product demonstration system (RHPDS) for Red Hat's solutions
  • Create content including videos, blogs, tech notes, and ebooks
  • Ensure that demonstrations are integrated with global learning and sales enablement platforms regularly
  • Assist with the delivery of technical training to presales engineering teams, consultants, and partners worldwide, both remotely and face-to-face
  • Contribute to the definition of the technical value proposition of Red Hat's solutions
  • Present the technical value proposition of Red Hat's solutions at market events and customer briefings like Red Hat Summit, Red Hat Tech Exchange, Sales Kick-Off, and others
  • Provide regular updates to the Red Hat's Solutions team on progress made and technical feedback received
  • Support sales and marketing efforts as required
  • Assist competitive teams with market and competitive analyses


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of enterprise software experience in integration, cloud services, or middleware; experience with Kafka is a plus
  • Ability to work in a technical environment to deliver demonstrations
  • Knowledge of source control systems and the software development life cycle
  • Solid understanding of open source software development processes, methodologies, and communities
  • Proven record of success in a fast-moving, highly technical environment, including a proven ability to learn, understand, and adopt new technologies quickly
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional skills in collaborating and leading disparate groups to consensus
  • Metrics-focused and detail-oriented
  • Willingness to travel when deemed safe
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science is a plus
