Job Description
The Growth Marketing team works closely with Card Acquisition leadership team, and plays a critical role in analyzing business performance, developing data-driven business cases, and optimizing our multi-year growth strategy. Our focus is on acquiring new Cardmembers, delivering award-winning customer experiences, and driving continuous innovation.
This role supports Card Acquisition priorities and is responsible for delivering business cases that grow new card acquisition. In this role, you will be accountable for establishing and managing a range of marketing strategies (acquisition and life-cycle management). You will develop the business and support identifying direction and activities to achieve the Card Growth goals.
Key responsibilities include developing data-driven business cases, performance updates, and optimization strategies. This role also works closely with Growth Marketing leadership to align on goals, priorities, and continuous improvement opportunities across Acquisition Value Stream.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, develop and implement data-driven business cases.
- Develop decision framework to support business strategies working closely with business partners. Identify and explore new approaches, data sources and processes to support improvements to existing and new marketing opportunities. Create reports and tools to support achievement of day to day goals.
- Run and improve effective strategy performance tracking ensuring that strategies are performing as expected and feeding back learning’s into strategy and / or policy changes in a timely manner.
- Prepare and present new strategies and subsequent performance to business heads and executives in both informal and formal environments.
- Establish and build strong effective working relationships with a range of business partners, where an in depth understanding of related business activities and their impact upon portfolio- performance is essential. Act as liaison with internal partners to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Develop presentations (Board, FRB, etc.) and updates for various senior internal and external audiences. This position handles many financial updates to presentations, which requires interface with departments across the Card organization.
- Perform ad hoc strategy and analysis work that cannot be easily done or found (looking at research, analyzing P&Ls).
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance
- 4+ years of experience in Acquisition Marketing, Business Strategy, or Related
