What will you be doing?
As our PR Associate, you will help elevate the AvePoint brand globally, specializing in media and analyst relations, executive thought leadership and overall brand positioning. Our products help companies collaborate with confidence which has never been more important in today’s digital world.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Craft strategic content including press releases, executive op-eds and other thought leadership opportunities, awards applications, and company messaging.
- Collaborate with global PR firms on story development, media relations execution, media monitoring, infrastructure coordination, etc.
- Manage a global events and awards program spanning a variety of executive thought leaders and products that help elevate our position in the software industry.
- Research priority analysts based on our investment with Gartner and Forrester and coordinate analyst engagements including briefings, product demos and inquiries.
- Contribute to marketing, product marketing and social initiatives, ensuring all activities support a cohesive brand narrative.
- Develop and implement processes for various communication mediums.

Other qualities you will need to be a fit for this role include:
- 2-3 years of public relations, communications, or brand marketing experience. Agency and/or in-house experience qualifies.
- B2B media relations experience, specifically in the technology sector, with a unique ability to develop compelling stories and engage with media is a requirement.
- Creative and articulate writer, with the power to distill complex concepts into clear and differentiated messages that will elevate our brand.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-regional and cross-functional teams within the company, in addition to global PR firms and freelancers.
- Collaborative team player who can effectively work with a variety of functions including marketing, investor relations, brand, product strategy and talent, among others.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and tackle projects within an integrated marketing and communications function.
- Prior analyst relations experience is a bonus, including the management of strategic relationships with analysts at firms like Gartner and Forrester.
- Writing samples and/or examples of media placements are encouraged in your application.
