Responsible for strategizing, developing, implementing, and managing in-house performance marketing efforts. This includes Demand Side Platform (DSP) support across display and video and Paid Social with the purpose of increasing sales and brand awareness in conjunction with the company’s core values. Analyzes, optimizes, and reports on digital metrics. Explores, innovates, and develops overall strategy and audience approach that drives new customer acquisition and engagement opportunities. Cross-functionally works with other internal teams to support marketing campaigns utilizing digital media expertise and awareness. Ensures alignment and integration of paid digital support with other marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Sits on Paid Media Team and partners with global and regional marketing teams to define goals and initiate strategic performance marketing efforts, aligning with cross-channel marketing communications
  • Develops channel roadmaps articulating strategy, testing frameworks, and innovation
  • Navigates internal and Amazon resources to provide the appropriate tools and attributions for channel support
  • 1st Party Data Subject Matter Expert, partnering with owed channels to develop larger multi-channel audience strategy
  • Assist in developing and activating integrated marketing plans across customer touchpoints, including but not limited to: digital, mobile, paid social, digital video, etc.
  • Collaborate on omni-channel planning, aligning media efforts with social, Email, web, app, in-store and onsite activations
  • Identify, communicate, manage, collect and proof creative assets to fulfill media plans including images, videos, copy, links, tracking tags, etc.
  • Create and improve internal processes, resources and toolkits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ marketing experience in paid digital and paid social media
  • Experience in Retail, Food & Bev or CPG desired
  • Prior Programmatic and DSP experience requried
  • Digital ad operations experience (pixels, asset tagging/tracking, DSP reporting) desired
  • Proficiency with Facebook Ads Manager, Audience Insights and Google Analytics
  • Ability to translate detailed media plans into summary overviews for internal partners
  • Experience managing optimizations across channels, targeting and messaging
  • Ability to extract key actionable insights from various data points, including and beyond paid media
  • Passion for keeping abreast of new trends in digital and social media
  • Passion for proactive planning of details & timelines, paired with comfort operating at the speed of retail and managing quick changes
  • Tireless relationship and consensus builder
  • Resourceful self-starter comfortable with ambiguity
  • Energetic, friendly, and self-motivated attitude
  • A good sense of humor

  • Position is located in Austin, Texas at Whole Foods Market Global Headquarters
  • Requires travel approximately 5-10%, as needed
