Spotify is looking for a mobile acquisition manager for the global performance marketing team who can own the overarching performance strategy to acquire net new free users. The ideal person for this role has a strong background in app acquisition tactics, can be the lead day-to-day subject matter expert, and is deeply familiar with mobile measurement and technology; however, they should also have familiarity with web based acquisition tactics, including desktop programmatic display, paid social and search.

What you'll do

  • Build strategies for scaling and optimizing mobile app acquisition campaigns to drive installs/registrations
  • Build strategies for scaling and optimizing web acquisition campaigns to drive subscriptions/revenue
  • Conceptualize and implement optimization strategies to meet and exceed volume goals while considering retention implications
  • Drive media agency relationship & daily execution of said acquisition campaigns
  • Develop business plans and forecasts, ensuring proper pacing against said plans and volumes
  • Stay abreast of the AdTech industry trends and best practices in performance marketing specific to privacy related changes (i.e. iOS14, ITP/ETP, CCPA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Have a passion for and knowledge of marketing technology advancements and proactively seek out opportunities to enhance our MarTech stack
  • Act as a liaison with other internal departments with vested interest in marketing tech advancements
  • Manage an intricate experimentation roadmap including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and spend scaling tests
  • Educate global teams on capabilities and advancements, specifically as it pertains to new channels and landscape nuance

Who you are

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 6+ years of experience managing large scale and/or global acquisition campaigns delivering on aggressive goals
  • Extensive knowledge of DSP platforms (TTD, DV360, APN/Xandr, MM) and MMP partners (Adjust, Branch, etc.)
  • Direct experience with audience, analytics & audience platforms such as Google Analytics, DCM, DoubleClick Search, LiveRamp and mParticleDeep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, ARPU and LTV
  • Extremely data-focused with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization Pivot tables, graphs, formulas, etc.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and results-drivenExtreme comfort working with agency ad operations teams to ensure the proper implementation, QA, and troubleshooting of ad tags and floodlights
  • In depth knowledge of tracking systems and data transparency
  • You have familiarity with how to leverage programmatic data for cross functional learnings, i.e. behavioral analysis, path to conversion, etc. 
  • You have the ability to set goals and execute under tight deadlines
  • You have a strong work ethic and desire to always improve
  • You have an open mind and a willingness to get your hands dirty
  • You are a self-motivator and are able to work independently
  • Experience in/around a startup or mobile culture is a plus - you are agile and able to adapt quickly, operating in a high growth mobile-first business
  • Experience working in a global team, collaborating across multiple geographies and familiarity with international data providers and inventory sources [preferable]
  • Experience managing a large multitude of business stakeholders [preferable]
  • In platform trading experience within any channel another huge plus [preferable]
