Paid Search (SEM) Media Buyers live in the data, and collaborate frequently with analytics and engineering teams to continuously improve user conversion funnels. They’re motivated by success and never afraid to increase ad spend where profit is generated.
What You Can Expect on the Paid Search Team:
- Manage and scale a portfolio of PPC campaigns on proprietary search sites using Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Manage large monthly budgets across campaigns, with the goal of increasing ad spend and gross profit
- Thoroughly test ad copy and experiment regularly to discover new growth avenues
- Use data visualization tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and Tableau to analyze campaign performance and report to internal product owners
- Partner with technical and product teams to improve search infrastructure overall and increase growth capabilities across owned sites
What You Can Bring to the Team:
- 1-3 years experience scaling PPC campaigns using Google Ads, Yahoo Gemini, or Bing Ads (or combination thereof)
- Familiarity with search-based bidding strategies and optimization techniques
- Experience managing monthly ad spend of at least $100,000 and optimizing KPIs like ROAS, CPC, and CTR
- Advanced data visualization skills in Excel - pivot tables, formulas, etc.
