The Partner Marketing Specialist is a results-oriented individual who has experience helping to grow and scale a partner marketing organization to support the revenue growth expected from this channel. This role will be responsible for the overall partner marketing support and execution.

This person will closely align with the company’s Sales & Marketing growth teams as well as Brand Marketing to build and manage measurable key performance indicators designed to support driving revenue objectives.

The Partner Marketing Specialist will report to the SVP, Partner & Strategic Marketing and can be located remotely within our operating states, or from our Portland, OR or Kansas City, MO office.

What You’ll Be Accountable For
  • Act as the primary evangelist for the partnership team within the broader organization – establishing relationships with sales, customer success, and product to increase visibility of our current partners and drive partner recruitment efforts.
  • Optimize partner marketing support and develop process to scale marketing activities for the entire partner ecosystem by coordinating across a cross-functional team to develop and provide tiered support based on expected ROI, customer LTV, etc.
  • Plan and designate project resources, manage budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed for execution of partner marketing projects.
  • Partner with brand and growth marketing to develop the partner marketing calendar, segmented by industry for year, and aligned with the overarching campaign strategy.
  • Work with partner managers to identify content needs and customize existing assets or identify net new creative requests with the brand marketing team.
  • In collaboration with revenue operations, develop and continuously refine partner reporting and dashboard development to support revenue goals, ensure that we’re bringing on the right partners, and monitor the full lifecycle from pipeline and signups to churn rates.
  • Partner with marketing operations to monitor lead flow, budget, and revenue expectations from the partner channel.
  • Co-own and refine go-to-market plans for Tier 1 partners with Partner Development Manager(s).
  • Manage the budget process for the partner marketing activities, tradeshows, and revenue share reporting and payments for the partner team.
  • Support overall partner event and trade show strategy, budget, and supervise execution.
  • Team with sales enablement to create sales training on partner initiatives that help drive alignment, adoption, and create sales excitement and success.
  • Maintain communications across marketing, revenue operations, accounting, and enablement to ensure a consistent lead conversion path for sales from partner channels and campaigns.
KPIs for Partner Marketing
  • Awareness, pipeline, and revenue generated from and through partners.
  • Opportunities/revenue closed from partner referrals both as a lead source and partner influenced.
  • Pipeline/revenue influenced through partner marketing resources/campaigns.
  • Ensure trackability of leads and revenue for all partner campaigns and activity.
  • Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques

Your Background
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant B2B technology marketing experience; SaaS to SMB experience a plus.
  • Experience working in partner ecosystems, preferred.
  • Must have a strong analytical and quantitative skill set combined with a strong ability to analyze data, interpret and translate results to produce actionable changes.
  • Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Proven track record collaborating with cross-functional internal parties and external agencies/contractors
  • Exceptional people/communication skills
  • Comfortable in a nimble, fast-paced environment
 Work Environment

Candidates near Portland, OR, or Kansas City, MO, have the option to work from one of our beautiful open-concept offices. Ruby requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and up to date on their booster before working in-office, full-time or hybrid. If an in-office environment isn’t for you or the distance is prohibitive, working from home is also an option for most positions, unless otherwise stated in the job ad.

The position requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time and communicate effectively with a diverse audience in person or virtually, by phone and computer.
