About this position

Accelerated Digital Media is looking for a Director of Social who will oversee the company’s paid social program. ADM’s paid social program supports a client base of VC-backed and growth-minded eCommerce and lead generation companies. This position is responsible for developing and innovating our paid social strategies, leading our social teams, contract renewal and upsell management and overall success of all paid social clients. 

The Director of Social will report to the VP of Client Services and is responsible for directly managing 2-4 Senior Managers on our Paid Social Team. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and innovate core-strategy processes for paid social across all platforms
• Develop and innovate creative-strategy processes for paid social across all platforms
• Quality control of program budgeting and pacing
• Support Senior Managers with all deliverables as needed, inclusive of strategy, client communication, KPI benchmarks, and reporting
• Contributing to new business pitches for prospective clients 
• Own employee promotions within the Social Team
• Set the roadmap and structure for hiring within the social team as it aligns with company goals
• Own responsibility for training programs at all levels of the Social team
• Lead channel-specific expansion opportunities for existing clients and work with Client Services and Senior Managers to assess opportunities, create pitch materials, and present to the client 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient in data aggregation and analysis
• Exceptional understanding of social media marketing
• The ability to work under tight deadlines
• Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, chart building
• Budget management >$100,000/mo
• Agency experience is preferred
