The Paid Media Marketing Manager is an experienced, innovative, and data-driven marketing leader is responsible for acquiring new customers for our ecommerce stores and increasing sales in marketplaces. As a Paid Media Marketing Manager, you will have responsibility for understanding consumer behavior through analytics, developing strategies to acquire new customers, executing campaigns to gain new customers, and measuring results. You will be a self-starter who will manage Paid Search, Paid Social, TV, radio and strategic partnerships to acquire new customers and increase revenue.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing.

  • Create and regularly update the strategic plan for acquiring new customers, including the goals, strategies, tactics, timeline and budget, for I See Me (US and UK), Book of Us, Amazon and Etsy.
  • Define new customer target markets by analyzing the new products that the company is launching as well as existing products to uncover opportunities to reach new audiences
  • Set goals for number of new customers acquired each month and cost the acquire each customer by marketing channel
  • Regularly test new marketing channels and tactics to acquire new customers
  • Manage and optimize existing campaigns for obtaining new customers through paid search/paid social, SEO, TV, radio, strategic partnerships with other brands and any other means of acquiring new customers. (Note: PR, influencer marketing, blogs and non-paid social will not be part of this role, but this position works closely with the person responsible for those areas.)
  • Write creative briefs defining needs for images and ads, and work with designers to obtain the creative
  • Gain insights through data analysis, industry trade shows and regular communication with account managers who work at Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Measure ROI and cost to acquire customers across all marketing channels, compared to forecast and prior year
  • Communicate results in monthly reports and a quarterly review with the leadership team


  • At least five years of proven experience in paid search and paid social marketing, with a demonstrated success in working with other departments to develop encompassing digital strategies
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with Google Tools: AdWords Editor, Analytics, Keyword Tool, Search Console, Structured Data Tool, PageSpeed Insights, Tag Manager; as well as Facebook, BingAds Editor, Searchmetrics
  • Experience with bid management tools (i.e. Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite, etc.)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in paid search
  • Familiar with SEO technical processes -indexation, international targeting, log files, URL structure, directives
  • Must be a self-driven multi-tasker who's comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, and show strong attention to detail
  • Google AdWords certification, Google Tag Manager experience, Amazon Seller Central, and/or web development experience are all a plus
