The GINSU team is part of Yahoo! Search organization. We build, plan, launch and optimize Display & Native campaigns in Google, Facebook, Taboola, Outbrain and others. A Lot About You
Business Intelligence Analysts are specialists when it comes to the analysis of Search, Native and Display advertising, experts in identifying trends in the data, looking for patterns of growth and goodness, and teasing out relevant insights. A great combination of Media Buying, Data Analysis and Project Management is the perfect mix. Push the team to deliver projects, and then build insights with the data. We're always pushing the limits of how digital marketing can be used to achieve success for Yahoo Search. Along with our Product and Editorial counterparts, Biz Analysts are individual contributors who act as a key resource for Yahoo's advertisers in planning and implementing their digital marketing campaigns with SEM, SEO and arbitrage.
Your Day

  • Campaign creation including Kw research, sourcing images, writing copy and building campaigns.
  • Campaign optimization: Daily campaign optimization by using analytical skill set and adjustments around bids and budgets to deliver your campaigns/accounts
  • Work independently to identify and prioritize opportunities and deliver projects, which lead to growth across a set of Yahoo's highest value Search terms.
  • Ensure ROI performance on all platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook, Outbrain, etc.), and enforce paid spend efficiency
  • Communicate directly with Product, Partners and Marketing teams at all levels of their organization to promote behavior that grows spend and also ensures long-term GINSU success. This can include daily interaction via Slack, video, phone and email, as well as quarterly presentations in-person.
  • Partner closely with Product, Editorial and Media Buying teams, and other internal team members to provide best-in-class service.


You Must Have

  • BA degree in Marketing or a related field
  • A keen eye for patterns in data. And a willingness to have an opinion. Be smart and assertive.
  • Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of analytics, category expertise and critical thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to "think on your feet".
  • Previous media buying experience is an asset.
