Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Trainee to join our supportive and collaborative team. The successful trainee will complete 2 rotations across our marketing teams with a variety of creative, administrative, analytical and campaign tasks. You will support with creating and uploading digital content, giving you the opportunity to learn and immerse yourself in the role that Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) plays in driving visibility. As a Marketing Trainee at T&F you will also build knowledge and understanding of the role of analytics in digital marketing, using the full suite of tools available. 

We’ll ensure you have the chance to learn on the job with mentoring and development from our colleagues, allowing you to develop and hone your knowledge and skills to grow your marketing career. 

What will this role involve? 

  • Understanding how email marketing fits into campaign and journey development including the use of automation in email
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of social media campaigns (paid and organic) and community management
  • Support the team in planning and research activities, projects, or campaigns (rotating through each specialist placement). 
  • Contribute to discussions of new ideas and processes, understanding the role of optimisation within digital marketing

Qualifications

What we would love you to bring

  • A real passion and enthusiasm for developing a career within marketing. You don't need to have any experience, but you'll be able to tell us why you think marketing is the right career for you
  • You'll be an ambitious individual who is eager to develop and learn
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • A basic understanding and passion for the principles of digital marketing
  • Certain apprenticeships may require a minimum level of educational and/or vocational qualifications
  • Effective time management skills, meeting deadlines and prioritising multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: be able to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Be a team player, building good working relationships and retaining a positive attitude towards your work and colleagues
