The Red Hat Marketing Operations team is looking for a Marketing Tableau Dashboard Developer to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you'll join the Marketing Operations team that is responsible for managing the tools, systems, processes, and data that make the Red Hat Marketing department more efficient, effective, and data-driven. You'll develop Tableau dashboards which enable analysis on the performance of marketing activities across global marketing teams. You'll also work closely with the digital experience director, content teams, and other internal teams to design dashboards which are used to measure and optimize global Red Hat web properties. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
- Develop Tableau Dashboards focused on answering key business questions
- Incorporate advanced Tableau functionality into dashboards, including parameters to change dashboard layouts, level of detail calculations, sets, dual axis charts, and dashboard actions
- Present dashboards and ad hoc analyses to key stakeholders in order to increase adoption and understanding of KPIs and business drivers
- Enable self-service reporting through development and training of our dashboards
- Consult with stakeholders to define standard reporting requirements, and work with Marketing
- Operations and IT to implement changes and enhancements
- Work with cross-functional teams and data owners to gather data as required to enable reporting and analysis needed by key stakeholders
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, marketing, business administration, or computer science
- 4+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, statistics, or data modeling
- Recent experience using Tableau Desktop to build interactive dashboards using advanced calculated fields like level of detail calculations and parameter or set actions
- Recent experience building Tableau Server data sources and publishing content to Tableau Server or Online
- Experience with business intelligence, SQL, and statistical analysis tools
- Good spreadsheet skills with proven experience managing large data sets and performing analysis
- Good communication skills to share and present dashboards with global marketing teams and leadership
