Job Description The Acquisitions Marketing team is responsible for driving incremental high-quality customer growth for the Consumer Bank through prospect acquisition and customer relationship deepening.
The Marketing Strategy Senior Associate role provides an opportunity to build and lead high-visibility, high-impact business growth strategies within the Consumer Bank and will provide significant exposure to all functional areas within Consumer Bank Marketing (strategy, analytics, channel management, creative, execution, etc.), Finance, as well as other lines of business across Chase.
As a Marketing Strategy Senior Associate, you will lead our Refer-a-Friend program strategy, which encourages existing customers to refer new banking relationships to Chase. You'll be responsible for shaping the direction of our consumer referral strategies in collaboration with a dedicated cross-functional Marketing team. You will lead growth strategies by concepting, prioritizing, and launching testing and innovation as well as managing the program's performance, budget, and forecast.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive planning for upcoming campaigns with cross-functional teams, including channels, populations, and testing roadmaps
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to discuss new strategies, opportunities, and to provide updates to senior leaders
  • Regularly present the investment plan to senior department leaders to obtain strategy buy-in, resource commitments, and funding approvals
  • Closely manage program performance of programs for response rates, new accounts, deposit balances, and other major profitability targets
  • In close collaboration with marketing analytics, ensure all tests and channels are supported by comprehensive measurement plan; review and distill results of tests and recommend future test and learn opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to develop and manage a creative testing roadmaps across all marketing channels


The right person for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Finance or related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital, direct-to-consumer marketing; financial services industry experience a plus
  • Team player with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization, influence partners, build consensus, and work across various functional departments
  • Proven experience crafting well-structured strategic business plans using qualitative and quantitative data and producing measurable results
  • Ability to present and discuss ideas with intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all levels of the organization
  • Experienced manager of marketing budgets, forecasts, and expected financial returns
