The North America (NA) Field Marketing Strategy, Insights, and Operations team is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting field marketing efforts by providing operational support through the data creation and tracking of marketing campaigns, creation and management of digital components of event management, and support other marketing operational processes. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
- Create Salesforce.com (SFDC) offer and tactic IDs to ensure closed-loop tracking of digital marketing activities and events
- Support the creation of marketing email or event landing page requests from North America Field Marketing team
- Assist with the online event check-in support in Certain, our event management platform
- Be responsible for task management and delivery; track and communicate status from receipt of request, through approval, to delivery
- Build target segment lists in Eloqua for email campaigns or other marketing programs
- Assist with lead management and contact uploads for offline events and activities
- Deliver ad hoc operational reporting to support field marketing's data-based decisions
- Support the creation of weekly and monthly internal newsletters promoting events or other marketing activities within the region
- Demonstrate initiative, solid work ethic, and excellent follow-through
- Code email templates in HTML and adjust CSS styling
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 1+ year(s) of experience working in a marketing or communications role, preferably with a technology or software company
- High attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a diverse and collaborative environment
- Ability to work on multiple priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Advanced skills with office softwares like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc. and standard productivity tools
- Basic understanding of project management fundamentals, no certifications required; excellent time and task management skills
- Familiarity with or eager to learn multiple marketing technology stack tools including Marketo or Eloqua, Salesforce.com (SFDC), Tableau, Outfit, Dreamweaver, Integrate, Allocadia, PathFactory, etc.
- Experience in tools like Dreamweaver is a plus
