As a Marketing Specialist within PNC's Marketing organization, this individual will be based in Cleveland, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Downers Grove, IL; Houston, TX; or Birmingham, AL.
Direct Marketing produces hundreds of millions of impressions per year to PNC prospective and current customers. The Marketing Specialist for the Direct Marketing Operations team will execute direct marketing campaigns (primarily direct mail and email), which are a vital part of the PNC marketing mix. Responsibilities include all aspects of direct marketing execution including list development, quality control, production, deployment and post-deployment validation.
We are seeking an individual who has a strong passion for marketing and project management. The right individual will possess high energy and a desire to learn more about executing marketing campaigns flawlessly and the importance of innovative thinking. The person we are seeking will have a collaborative spirit and possess strong communication skills. They will work closely with multiple partners including other areas of marketing and external vendors. The Marketing Specialist will have proven success executing project deliverables on time. The goal of this role is to bring team members into PNC Marketing, allow them to develop insight and experience across multiple campaigns, and then work with the individual to grow their marketing career within PNC.
Direct Marketing Operations Marketing Specialist
Direct marketing is a vital part of the marketing mix. This role in PNC's Direct Marketing Operations team will allow the individual to manage key aspects of mail and direct mail deployments.
• Executes moderate to low risk direct marketing campaigns and others as required• Coordinates, reviews and approves marketing workflow activities and tasks • Performs quality control review of marketing assets; acts as second level review as necessary• Identifies additional process improvements to increase efficiency and mitigate risk of campaigns• Works with marketing partners to understand campaign improvements and best practices • Performs peer audits• Coordinates communications with marketing and product partners, as necessary

Job Description
- Under direct supervision, assists in the coordination of basic marketing program execution.
- Establishes a strong comprehension of Marketing strategies in order to positively inform execution of programs/projects.
- Assists in coordination and execution of Marketing programs/projects, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Also assists in data collection and synthesis. Assembles trends.
- Participates in interactions with agencies, third parties or internal business partners to coordinate development and execute on their behalf.
- Administers activities including coordination with legal, compliance, invoicing, budget management and process workflows.
