APTIM's Marketing and Communications team seeks an experienced Marketing Specialist to serve as a key driver in the development of performance-driven marketing campaigns that address specific marketing objectives and elicit customer action. This is an opportunity for a professional looking to further advance their career with a global leader, and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing APTIM's global growth strategy.

The ideal candidate will be versed in search engine optimization and will know how to write compelling content for different audiences and platforms with ease. Utilizing marketing tactics and storytelling techniques, they will develop performance-driven content for email, blogs, landing pages, social media campaigns, and both print and digital collateral. They will serve as a liaison with the Environmental and Energy Solutions strategic business unit (SBU) on publication content and marketing strategies.

The Marketing Specialist is a confident, self-motivated teammate who won't hesitate to jump in and work alongside team members on projects and tasks of all levels. This role will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage content creation and publishing process, and monitor consumer and content metrics. The Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with the communications and marketing team to ideate and define content goals.
  • Develop and execute programs to generate pipeline through lead-generation initiatives including PPC, SEM, SEO, retargeting, content syndication, nurture programs, social media, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to develop marketing campaigns for specific marketing objectives.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop engaging marketing campaigns native to the platform.
  • Partner with Environmental and Energy Solutions SBU and other SBUs for alignment on project management and timelines for different brand initiatives.
  • Optimize content for websites and social media platforms.
  • Design and execute multivariate testing for emails and landing pages.
  • Use data analytics to measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance, and asses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Grow high-quality followers and build engagement across our main social channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Strong creative skills and the ability to transform complex information into engaging content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize digital user experience.
  • Execute new and creative collaborations among technologies and platforms.
  • Research consumer trends to ensure that content is relevant and appealing.
  • Develop marketing strategies to effectively reach the desired target audience and marketing goals.
  • Create content for a variety of platforms including blogs, websites, and social media, etc.
  • Develop and manage editorial content calendars and ensure that content remains consistent across all platforms.
  • Track consumer and analytics and generate reports and presentations.
  • Keep up to date with content trends, consumer preferences, and advancements in technology.
  • Identify new opportunities to improve processes.
  • Assist with event coordination, trade show events, and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, communications, or another relevant field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar roles.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in AP Style.
  • Proficient in multiple kinds of writing: feature stories, profiles, blogs, news articles, white papers, social media campaigns, etc.
  • Proficient in writing for various audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing marketing calendars, workflows, and deadlines.
  • Must have solid proficiency with Microsoft Office; proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) a plus.
  • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SEM, PPC.
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
  • Experience with Salesforce Pardot is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage and move forward multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Highly analytical yet creative skillset with the ability to evaluate information, define challenges or objectives, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and develop solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail, the ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
