Job Description:

The Marketing & Sales Analytics Leader will conduct and oversee analyses focused on understanding, optimizing, and communicating and applying marketing performance, sales effectiveness, client retention, and lifetime customer value. The role will collaborate cross-functionally within marketing, business operations, product, sales, market intelligence and enterprise data teams to deliver innovative, actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will build and lead a team of analysts to distill data insights for Marketing, Communications and Sales, be responsible for building and communicating the analytics plan and strategy, and work closely with Marketing Automation, Marketing Intelligence, Sales Operations and Client Experiences teams to enhance and optimize brand and demand generation processes through data analysis and validation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the long-term data strategy and vision for Marketing and Sales Analytics
  • Nurture and grow the marketing and sales analytics team including recruiting and integrating best of breed talent
  • Build strong relationships with key executives and stakeholders across the organization
  • Partner with the Head of Data to build and ensure data assets align with Enterprises practices while serving the needs of the Marketing and Sales function.
  • Conduct cross-platform (MarTech, CRM, CX, BX) analysis to unleash the full potential of our customer data
  • Conduct and present insightful analyses on major marketing, communications and sales initiatives, operational trends, challenges, and opportunities; recommend solutions that can be easily interpreted by non-analytical partners
  • Build and support an enterprise segmentation model, in conjunction with cross-BU input & support
  • Analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations to improve customer acquisition, optimize acquisition spend and conversion to improve ROI
  • Define and continually challenge KPIs and metrics that are critical to achieving company goals; build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to track key metrics

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • MBA strongly preferred
  • 15+ years in a highly quantitative, data-driven environment (product management, strategy, consulting, marketing/customer/product analytics, data science, or equivalent)
  • Deeply analytical and thrive when extracting insight from complicated datasets, building, and delivering a narrative that's accessible to stakeholders at all levels in the business.
  • Strong ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action
  • Ability to collaborate across numerous stakeholders to understand requirements and build solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Subject matter expert in analytics with in-depth knowledge of data sources, systems and their application and experience in partnership with marketing
  • Expertise working with CRM and Marketo; and digital data technologies (Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.) Proficiency in SQL. Knowledge of Qualtrics. Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience measuring and optimizing marketing spend efficiency
  • Experience working with a marketing tech stack

Market Development and Sales (MDS): MDS supports Crowe in achieving its growth objectives by developing and executing national and international programs to build brand awareness for Crowe; promoting Crowe's thought leadership and positioning its experts in the markets it serves in both marketing and media channels; implementing lead management programs through integrated marketing and communications; and enabling revenue generation through multiple sales channels. MDS is also responsible for new product development and the Firm's Client Experience initiative.
