Marketing Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Hartford's Absence Management business, including absence and leave management as well as short- and long-term disability, is a $5 billion business, placing The Hartford as a top 2 carrier in the market. A core competitive advantage for The Hartford is our ability to bring simplicity and efficiency to the complex task of implementing complex cases and ensuring accurate plan design, claims-system configuration, and HR data flow. This marketer ensures our Sales and Relationship Management teams are telling the right implementation story and telling it as effectively as possible.

POSITION OVERVIEW AND BACKGROUND

Responsibilities:• Owns the disability/leave/absence case-implementation story from a marketing perspective• Positions our implementation narrative for Sales and Relationship Management, with buy-in from Implementation, IT, Digital, and other teams, as well as external benefits-administration partners• Integrates implementation marketing strategy with the overall Group Benefits strategy and narrative• Develops and manages employer-, employee- and producer-facing slides, videos, web content and other assets• Collaborates with Market Launch & Thought Leadership team on relevant articles, podcasts, events, etc.• Tracks usage and effectiveness of key assets and the overall narrative, updating on a regular basis to improve performance• Collaborates effectively within the Absence Marketing team and across Group Benefits Marketing and other business-line and corporate teams

Qualifications:• 5+ years marketing, insurance industry experience preferred• Bachelor's degree required• Ability to work in a matrixed environment with diverse business teams such as sales, relationship management, IT, Cr
• Strong skill set and track record working with and influencing various parts of the organization• Track record of developing and executing marketing plans within an integrated marketing strategy• Track record of leading and delivering successful initiatives and ability to work in a dynamic environment on multiple projects, tasks, or assignments• Superior communication skills, both oral & written. Ability to tailor presentations and material to a wide variety of audiences• Although this is not primarily a copywriting role, it requires drafting slides and other materials for use with external audiences

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$89,280 - $133,920
