If you know the importance of telling a strong brand story, this role may be for you. Our software business has been evolving and we are looking for a Marketing Program Manager to champion and execute strategic messaging projects for the portfolio of global software brands, managing schedules, communications, budgets, vendor relationships, and deliverables. This person will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team to create a compelling story that includes the combined and growing software portfolio, enable the organization, launch the new positioning, and drive ongoing related programs.

WHAT'S YOUR IMPACT?

  • Project manage and collaborate with a global cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders to create a differentiated and compelling story for the Rockwell Automation software business comprised of Plex, Fixx and Factory Talk software.
  • Collect market intelligence to inform the story and ensure it resonates with key audiences.
  • Build project management systems and timelines, continuously improve and use those systems to accomplish brand story and marketing initiatives.
  • Run disciplined project workflow logistics: communications, document retention, calendars to stay on time and on budget.
  • Launch the new story to deepen connections with prospects, customers and, influencers and drive adoption by partners and employees. Run an efficient process and communication workflow.
  • Organize information quickly, identify and address potential roadblocks and define the best way forward.
  • Conduct presentations to educate team members and stakeholders on brand and marketing initiatives including project objectives, status, and outcomes.
  • Take initiative with the ability to be "hands on" and work with others, with a can-do attitude.

IS IT IN YOU?
  • 5 to 8 years of marketing experience with 3+ years of brand story management or strategy experience within an advertising agency, consulting firm, branding agency, or client-side.
  • Experience developing and managing projects related to brand positioning, architecture, voice, and identity elements.
  • Experience using customer research and insights to support branding decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
  • Inventive and enthusiastic problem solver, at ease with working in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and use discretion.
  • Excellent proof reading and design proofing skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to quickly shift priorities.
  • Proficiency with related software tools including but not limited to Project Management Software, MS Office, etc.
