YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Marketing Operations Manager on the Architecture arm of our Marketing Operations Team, you will play a leading role in expanding the capabilities of MURAL’s marketing technology stack. This position will drive strategic projects that support MURAL’s overall marketing strategy. Projects will include vetting and implementing new technologies, building within existing tools, and solutioning custom integrations or data flows.

As the in-house expert on connecting our existing tool stack to the rest of the business, you will work cross-functionally with teams like Product, Data, Marketing and Community to iterate, educate and enable new ways of segmenting and messaging to our customers and prospects. You may also support efforts to optimize existing campaigns and plays, as well as improve our processes as a Marketing Operations team. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations. 

  • Drive projects that evolve our segmenting and messaging capabilities throughout the entire customer journey.
  • Be our internal expert on the custom data flows and integrations that feed our marketing technology stack, working across teams to support, educate, execute and trouble-shoot where needed.
  • As a senior member of the team, partner and collaborate successfully with technical teams as well as business stakeholders. 
  • Play a leading role in the vetting, selecting, implementation and adoption of new platforms
  • Support and guide audits and documentation of existing infrastructure and tools, and heavily shape roadmaps of these tools.
  • Provide input into the overall design of our marchitecture and shape our process and framework for innovation as we continue to scale
  • Proactively find opportunities to optimize our practices for better visibility and scale, and our campaigns for better performance and experience.

YOUR PROFILE

The top candidate will have the following skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in a Marketing Operations role
  • 3+ years of experience at a b2b SaaS company
  • Comfort working with and communicating technical problems or solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record writing clear requirements and documentation for technical teams
  • Demonstrable experience working within a Marketo-Salesforce.com environment
  • Experience building and deploying campaigns at scale
  • Understanding of global data privacy policies
  • An affinity for process -- and where there isn’t one, you’re comfortable creating one
  • Communicating effectively, clearly and concisely
  • Experience working remotely with a global team
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills


Ideally you have...

  • A solid grasp of typical SaaS product data -- including data model and track events
  • Experience working with PLG tools like Segment, Heap, Pendo, or Intercom
  • Familiarity deploying in-app experiences -- chat, pop-ups, banners, guides, etc.
