How you will make an impact:

The Marketing Operations Manager will focus on evolving processes and operational capabilities across the global Pharma Services Group Marketing team in order to improve quality, efficiency, and value delivered by our marketing output. The scope for this role will include leading and evolving end-to-end marketing workflow design recommending and optimizing marketing workflow and automation technology, measuring and improving quality and productivity, and managing a diverse portfolio of external service providers. The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee the financial processes related to workflow design and service providers. The Marketing Operations Manager will be adept at leading organizational change, process improvement and effective marketing process training.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop a workflow process to ensure that systems, processes, and tools are in place to support end-to-end marketing services creative and production workflows.
  • Effectively lead change and achieve adoption through development and implementation of change management, training and communications strategies.
  • Evaluate and improve functionality to increase organizational efficiency, agility and value-inclusive of identifying and researching tools, software and methodologies.
  • Develop KPIs and lead data collection, measurement, analysis and communication of performance results to support leadership in making strategic, tactical and financial decisions.
  • Optimize production and planning efficiencies by working cross-functionally to forecast demand, identify resources needed, and correct efficiency gaps while quantifying expense, time and cost savings.
  • Accountable for the training and documentation of current and new workflow processes and procedures. Leads the communication of changes to affected colleagues and partners with a focus on user acceptance and adoption.
  • Accountable for providing insight, support and recommendations in creating financial models/processes to facilitate and manage a centralized creative resources annual operating plan.
  • Secure new marketing services platforms/portals/vendors, as needed, inclusive of the development of requirements, review of estimates, leading cost negotiations, establishing service level agreements, facilitating Legal/Regulatory/Corporate Security review and approval of agreements, invoicing and vendor management.
  • Other related duties as assigned



How you will get here:

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years' work experience in marketing management/business operations
  • Minimum 2 years' experience using a workflow tool such as Workfront
  • Experience with RACI, Agile methodologies, and Practical Process Improvement preferred
  • Skilled at learning new technologies
  • Ability to envision and lead change
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate to facilitate change
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills



Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience using a workflow tool such as Workfront
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate to facilitate change
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
