GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an innovative marketing manager to promote our company's brand, heavy duty parts and services. In this role, you will be working within and leading projects in a fast paced and rapidly growing team of individuals to create and optimize marketing strategies; develop, research, and launch marketing programs; managing department budget; as well as preparing forecasts and measuring outcomes. FleetPride is growing and changing the way customers purchase within the heavy-duty market through digital adoption and engagement. To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads. An outstanding marketing manager will be someone whose expertise and experience translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing and other strategic programs.
  • Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
  • Generating new business leads.
  • Increasing brand awareness and market share.
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, category management, financial, public relations, and other departments.
  • Developing and managing the marketing department's budget, including co-op funding with supplier partners working closely with category management.
  • Engaging in and often overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior management.
  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends, sharing out weekly with leadership.
  • Creates marketing strategies to launch and market new products.
  • Use customer feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations to the marketing and communications team as needed.
  • Help shape the brand positioning and narrative while targeting the proper audience.
  • Analyze sales and marketing key performance indicators.
  • Ensures marketing strategies align with overall business strategy.
  • Develop & apply end user incentive programs including a robust communication plan. Work closely with Promotions Manager for synergy with internal promotions where possible.
  • Develop & disseminate printed marketing materials, product packaging, signage, etc. for all product categories as needed working with in-house graphic artist.
  • Manage & maintain effective relationships with internal & external customers & suppliers as applicable.
  • Solicit co-op funds from vendors for any given project as needed.
  • Participate in brand strategy development as needed.
  • Participate in annual Marketing Plan development.
  • Perform all the above in the most cost-effective manner.



EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or relevant work experience (high school diploma with an additional 5-7 years' experience in related capacity)
  • Minimum 5 years marketing management or similar experience
  • Masters or MBA in a relevant field would be advantageous
  • Understanding of analytical, statistical, and financial processes and procedures.



KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Project management experience including developing action plan for assigned projects and seeing it through to completion with necessary follow through.
  • Experience must include strategic marketing planning, communications planning, sales and web-based promotions, and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM software and content management systems such as SalesForce and SalesForce Marketing Cloud, others.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Budget management experience.
