Come join the TurboTax Marketing Strategy Team as Marketing Manager.
This critical role for the business contributes to overall revenue management across our TurboTax portfolio in a way that drives positive revenue growth and profitability for the business. Responsibilities include helping to define the feature set of our core tax products, developing pricing strategies, and value added services to meet both short- and long-term goals.
We're looking for a forward-thinking self-starter who has solid experience translating consumer insights into strong customer and revenue growth. This leader will be required to create strong partnerships with Product Management, Product Development, Design, Analytics and Finance to build, test and iterate on product lineup experiences, pricing, and new business models.
What you'll bring
- 3-5 years professional experience in marketing or product marketing
- Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
- Proven experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver amazing outcomes
- Solid written and verbal skills to communicate program objectives, recommendations, and results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results
- Track record of making principled, data-based business decisions balanced with experienced judgement
- Proven success in turning deep customer understanding into insightful market strategy and execution that drives strong business results
How you will lead
- Play a leadership role in defining the TurboTax flagship product line, business model, and pricing strategies to meet both short- and long-term goals
- Develop deep understanding of the product value proposition and drive the creation of clear and differentiated positioning across the product line
- Understand and analyze market opportunity, customer segments, competitors, and offerings to develop the business case for new features and services.
- Contribute to our short- and long-term monetization strategy by managing existing value added services and identifying new services in a way that differentiate our products and provides superior value to our customers
- Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B in-market testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes
- Provide strong test hypotheses based on insights that drive customer satisfaction and increased revenue
- Evaluate copy and creative execution and provide constructive feedback to design teams; coach others on developing and implementing effective messaging
- Understand key metrics for success and actively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results
