Location: Germany - remote.

You have to be based in Germany to be considered for this role.


You will work with the EMEA Regional Marketing Lead and Regional Sales Directors to drive business growth for the Coursera for Business function by building brand awareness and generating marketing leads via multiple marketing channels specific to the DACH region.


You have strong organisational and project management skills, a data-driven approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to confidently design and execute in-person and online events and digital campaigns. You are a creative, motivated, and collaborative individual who values flexibility and the opportunity to make an impact. 

Responsibilities:

  • Events: Work alongside the EMEA Regional Marketing Lead to drive planning, logistics and execution for Enterprise events focused on developing our activation of the Coursera for Business function focused on enterprise clients in DACH, FR and Benelux (for both our Corporate and Mid Market sales functions). Develop and execute the strategic marketing plan aligned to the sales strategy across the region split (shown above) and how events contribute to the broader business goals. Develop and deploy event promotions, gather data from attendees, coordinate speakers and work with internal stakeholders and sales to ensure timely follow-up. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that development, review, and execution of event promotions stay on schedule and deliver the desired impact
  • Webinars: Manage scheduling and logistics for webinars, roundtables and online events whilst also sourcing compelling speakers and partners to bring a compelling story to each and every event we run within the region
  • Email and Landing Page Development: Work with the Marketing Operation and Demand Generation teams to execute B2B email and lead acquisition campaigns
  • Customer Case Studies: Work with Account Executives / Customer Success Managers within Coursera to secure approvals and logos from customers to create case studies; manage the case study review cycle
  • SDR engagement: Work with the EMEA Sales Development Rep team across the 3 regions to enhance marketing support and identification of best practice opportunities ensuring lead flow is developed across all key markets. 
  • Local PR engagement with DACH agency and coordination with EMEA PR lead to ensure the PR strategy is executed with excellence. Identify PR opportunities to amplify the brand and extend the reach of all local marketing activity. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in a fast-growth environment ideally from an enterprise.
  • Corporate marketing background within the DACH region
  • Demonstrable track record of planning and executing compelling trade shows and executive events (e.g. workshops and roundtables) ideally with some examples of virtual activation
  • Experience managing enterprise marketing programs such as email, webinars, events, paid ads with focus on KPI measurement (e.g. MQL’s, SAL’s)
  • Demonstrated history building programs and workflows in marketing automation software.-
  • Experience with Salesforce.com building reports and dashboards
  • Business fluency in German

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PR experience within the DACH market (including agency management) would be preferred.
  • French / Benelux corporate marketing background with DACH
  • Marketo experience
  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with people across the company to gather the necessary information to execute campaigns and programs
  • Organisational skills and great attention to detail
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • French would be preferred
