Marketing Manager - Boston
Gopuff is the go-to solution for immediate everyday needs, fulfilling customer orders of cleaning and home products to over-the-counter medications to food and drinks, and in some markets, alcohol - in just minutes. As a member of Gopuff’s new Business Expansion division, the Marketing Manager - Boston is a crucial role contributing to building new user growth across the Boston market.
The Marketing Manager - Boston will be responsible for developing and executing existing and new local strategies to acquire new users and retain existing users in the market, and building a loyal following wherever we operate. Your day-to-day efforts will support aggressive expansion efforts at a rapidly growing start-up.
Responsibilities
- Building a brand that has local relevance to our target customers in your market of responsibility
- Building and executing creative campaigns and activations that effectively grow new Gopuff users within your market, retain existing users, and drive orders
- Partnering with both our local and central merchandising and strategic partnership teams to build product promotion campaigns that drive local new user growth and generate order volume
- Partnering with our central marketing teams to localize central campaigns to increase conversion and create a better, more relevant customer experience
- Researching, coordinating, and securing influencer relationships to further amplify our brand and campaigns
- A/B testing, gathering analytics, and reporting on campaign and channel effectiveness and customer acquisition costs to the overall team
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in marketing; high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred
- Experience building comprehensive marketing campaigns focused on top-of-funnel new user growth; both experiential/field and CPG marketing experience are strongly preferred
- Experience leveraging influencers, ambassadors, and social media to acquire new users
- Experience activating at and partnering with local community events to grow brand awareness
- Proficient in Excel: experience with analyzing cost of user acquisition, customer lifetime value, and other pertinent marketing metrics
- Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude
- Willingness to embody the culture and principles of an operator
- The ability to connect deeply and empathize with multiple types of people, from a software engineer to a barista
- Comfortable addressing challenges with ambiguous or incomplete information
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- A deep knowledge of your region, target markets, its residents, and their lifestyles
- A customer-centric mindset
