Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the ANZ and East & Southeast Asia team, adding value by contributing towards marketing strategies and building up relationships with our partners and customers. 

The aim of this role is to acquire high quality submissions to our portfolio of journals and books. You will understand the motivations and desires of researchers and use these insights to craft attractive messages that explain the advantages of Taylor & Francis' publishing services. You will help develop the business and work in a multifaceted team focused on delivering a superior author experience and on growing revenues. You will develop and share in-depth knowledge of author needs and motivations towards publishing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, report on and adapt multi-channel marketing campaigns to meet an agreed set of KPIs and within agreed budgets
  • Manage a marketing budget effectively ensuring return on investment
  • Present information in meetings, with a thorough understanding of the products/customer channel, target markets, and sales expectations
  • Maintain reports, budgets, trackers as required, analysing performance of campaigns, services and activities carried out
  • Undertake and support market research to understand customer, competitor and market developments, feeding outcomes into own plans and those of the wider department.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, potential customers and third-party services.
  • Use feedback reports to relay voice of the customer across the wider Marketing team.
  • Support the Senior Marketing Manager in planning and implementing subject/channel or team level projects/campaigns.
  • Delegate and review tasks, where agreed with the Senior Marketing Manager, monitoring progress and quality and providing effective feedback.
  • Accountable for managing own learning, taking responsibility to identify and develop skills gaps

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Marketing or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience preferred, understanding of the role of marketing and the implementation of evidence-based marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point), web/cloud-based databases, CMS, email creation platforms and/or other bespoke IT systems.
  • Demonstrable customer and commercial awareness – including the competitive environment, potential partner organisations and market trends.
