    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to join the Academic Institutions Marketing Team at Taylor & Francis, based in the UK, on a 9 month fixed-term basis. As part of a growing Marketing Department, there is plenty of scope for the successful candidate to develop in this role, with potential to progress within the organization.

    What you will be doing:

    As a Marketing Executive within the Journals Academic Institutions Marketing Team, you will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns for the EMEA region, reporting into the Marketing Manager. 

    This is a role that works closely with other Marketing and Sales teams focusing on our key customer types within the institutional market. Your work will be varied but will focus on helping to maintain and increase revenue for your region using a range of tools, channels, and tactics. Strong time management and communication skills, copywriting skills, creativity, analytical skills, and strategic planning are crucial to the role. Experience with Salesforce products, digital campaigns, Google Analytics and paid/organic social media advertising a bonus. 

    Qualifications

    What we are looking for:

    • An organized marketer with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities and projects effectively
    • A strong copywriter, with creative flair and the ability to develop compelling copy for a range of media including email and social campaigns
    • Someone who can work independently but also as a team, sharing knowledge and best practice with others
    • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Dimensions, social media ads, WordPress and Salesforce tools including Pardot, Marketing Cloud and Social Studio would be desirable but not essential
    • A problem solver and self-starter who is able to independently own projects, demonstrate initiative and find solutions to problems with minimal supervision
    • Someone who is analytical – can assess data and transform into insights to improve upon the success of their marketing campaigns and strategy 
    • A marketing “all-rounder”, who has proven success with planning and implementing multi-channel campaigns to fulfil objectives across multiple stages of the marketing funnel
    • Experience with managing, allocating, and spending against a budget to help increase marketing performance and drive results
    • Willingness and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a proven ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude while managing a high-volume workload
    • Readiness to adapt their strategic approach against changing circumstances in order to maintain campaign success
    • Knowledge of the (academic) publishing industry and open access market is preferred but not essential
