The Marketing Director works with the client service team to manage all communication projects for assigned clients. Involved from new business meetings and through project completion, the Marketing Director is responsible for initiating proposals and project plans, then guiding the project through development to final product - with a keen eye for detail!

The Marketing Director is the liaison between the client and the firm. An effective problem-solver on a day-to-day basis, the Marketing Director must be adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities, as well as being very detail orientated and having a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities Included (but not limited to):

• Acts as the primary client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to learn their business and communication needs.
• Works closely with all departments to develop and implement strategic project
• Proactively gathers the necessary information to plan and implement each client project.
• Provides timely issuance of all documentation: proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, timelines, meeting summaries, and status and budget reports.
• Responsible for execution of all work for Venel client.
• Manages time and financial resources to ensure client projects are on time and on budget.
• Maintains working knowledge of pertinent software and peripherals needed to complete work.
• Reviewing and approving all work on behalf of the client.
• Overnight Travel via airplanes to client sites on an as needed basis to work with Clients.
• Overnight travel to tradeshows, Venel speaking engagements and other Venel events
• The Marketing Director is a full-time position that requires the employee to be accessible outside of the hours of 8 am - 5 pm and does require travel on an as needed basis.

The Marketing Director requires superior project management skills. If you are extremely detailed and love making lists and crossing things off once completed, this is a perfect job for you! S/he must be a conscientious team player and a good organizer. This person must also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills. The Marketing Account Manager is a creative problem solver, exhibiting initiative and a take-charge attitude.
