Our Marketing team is committed to building the Karat brand and long-term value of the business in order to help achieve revenue and margin targets.

What you will do

As a Marketing Designer at Karat, you will be at the heart of bringing creative ideas to life to tell the Karat story through a wide range of marketing and sales creative and campaigns. Your creative background gives you the ability to see how a story can be told across various channels and through key assets and design experiences.

Karat’s HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are open to remote candidates for this role (within the U.S.). Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Create static and animated marketing and sales assets for multiple channels and vehicles across digital, email, web, social, and others as needed.
  • Translate product marketing and communications strategies into powerful and purposeful creative concepts and assets for various channels and uses across sales and marketing.
  • Develop asset templates within existing design standards to enhance our content across multiple platforms, expanding design boundaries when needed.
  • Apply your creative ideas to refresh visual styles and graphic standards across channels.
  • Maintain and expand an image library from several sources including image banks and internal imagery library.
  • Partner with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, at all levels, integrating varying points of view while delivering assets efficiently.

The experience you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or brand design roles
  • Fluent with Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Google Suite (Slides and Docs specifically)
  • Proficient with After Effects, Premier Pro, and Wordpress
  • Experience pushing a brand forward with fresh, inventive ideas
  • A unique creative approach to problem solving, with a demonstrated ability to present complex concepts in simple, digestible ways that are visually compelling
  • Understanding of product marketing, communications, and general marketing strategies
  • Experience partnering with copywriters, product marketers, PR and communications teams, demand generation teams, and salespeople
  • A curious, entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
