Our team is hiring a Marketing Coordinator. This role introduces you to our Commercial team and will work with the team on various projects that move forward our go to market strategies.

As a global leader in medical content, we help healthcare professionals improve patient outcomes by providing world-class, current medical information. We build strong relationships with our customers and provide solutions wherever they are in their medical career - from medical education and residency, to professional practice and board certification/recertification. We offer content in a variety of formats and deliver content through a variety of channels.


As a Marketing Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting the Medical Reference team by executing go-to-market activities and marketing efforts for the Trade sales channel. You will help bring Medical Reference products to market and will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle - from proposal and forecasting to product launch and sales support.


Work closely with Commercial Managers and Commercial Director to assist in the execution of marketing activities designed to gain market share, build brand awareness, generate leads, and achieve revenue objectives for B2C and B2B Elsevier Clinical Solutions products. Manage go-to-market responsibilities to drive North American revenue of products (books, eBooks, digital products, Clinics) to residents and practicing physicians across several professional medical specialties.

  • Assist Commercial Managers with customer communications and special assignments.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Managers and Content Strategists with Author Engagement. Assist commercial team by providing support for key commercial tasks including:
  • Execute project management tasks related to campaign and marketing assets development including liaising with other key departments.
  • Report, analyze and interpret data for use in developing marketing plans and content.
  • Assist with the tactical execution of annual strategic marketing plans.
  • Assist Commercial Director with Adapted Reprint, Trade, Pharma Program and Cover Approvals. Assist Senior Commercial Manager with vendor and marketplace accounts (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.), Amazon Advertising, and creating PowerPoint presentations for key customers Assist team with duties and reporting as needed. Other projects as assigned.

  • 1-2 years of sales, marketing, product or commercial experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare, education or digital information market experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across cultures and levels within the organization.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
