This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Marketing Coordinator II for our Indianapolis, INoffice. The position can also be located in Lansing, MI, Lincoln, NE or any of our other offices in the 16-state Central Region. Be involved in projects with our Central Region Strategic Growth Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client's objectives and solves their challenges.

This is an opportunity to be a part of delivering critical infrastructure that supports the safe and sustainable growth of the communities in which we live. While based in a specific office, the Marketing Coordinator will serve as a regional resource working throughout a multi-state region. The position will integrate with a high performing, supportive team of marketing coordinators, graphic designers, and strategy development staff responsible for securing some of the largest infrastructure projects in the Central U.S. The Marketing Coordinator will work with a variety of staff, from planners and engineers to designers and construction managers, supporting the marketing team with proposals, qualification packages, award submittals, resumes, project descriptions, and data management. We are looking for a motivated people-person with excellent writing and communication skills to lead the proposal process and support our fast-paced workflow.

Your Impact

  • Under close supervision, assists other marketing professionals and manager in coordinating all aspects of preparing proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
  • Assists with managing marketing systems and budgets, maintaining all marketing collateral, and supports communications initiatives.
  • Supports the overall production of standard proposals/qualification and other marketing materials with general supervision
  • Researches, gathers and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information. Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Coordinates design and production of proposal materials with graphics staff
  • Supports technical staff in presentation phase of pursuit
  • May support client engagement by preparing materials for internal and external meetings and may participate in client engagement team meetings
  • May coordinate district communications activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project awards and other special communications-related projects
  • Other duties as assigned


Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, English, Marketing, Planning, or a related field
  • 1-3 years minimum experience. Minimum of 1 year work experience in editing, proofing, and general layout
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, knowledge of business development procedures and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle several tasks, projects and monitor schedules
  • Must have knowledge of procedures necessary to coordinate a standard proposal from onset to conclusion

  • Experience in A/E/C industry
